Creed.<br \/>\nWe also believe in Ephesians 4:11, &#8220;He has set some as apostles, some as prophets, some as evangelists, and some as pastors and teachers. In June 2002, the church moved to Koenji, Suginami ward, Tokyo, where he continues to serve.<\/p>\n<p>Since the beginning of his ministry, Pastor Akimoto has been committed to overseas missionary work, guided by God. He has visited over 80 countries across five continents, spreading the word of God.<\/p>\n<p>He has authored numerous books, notably &#8220;Prophecy: Its reality and use,&#8221; which has been translated into English, Czech, Polish, Russian, German, and Ukrainian, and is widely used in churches to study and practice the gift of prophecy.<\/p>\n<p>His other works include:<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; &#8220;Obeying His Voice&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; &#8220;Charismatic Declaration&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; &#8220;Obeying His Voice: Chapter 2&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; &#8220;Women Led by the Lord: Stand as Pastors, Evangelists, and Teachers!&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; &#8220;The Blessing of Being Sick and the Blessing of Healing: The Grace of Giving Thanks&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; \u201cDoomsday: Events that the Bible foretells to come up soon&#8221; (published by A Rainbow in the Clouds Publishers)<\/p>\n<p>-&#8220;Prayers Are Answered&#8221; (published by Mikoe News Press, Inc.)<\/p>\n<p>Paul Akimoto is a father of three sons. (Churches in London, Chicago, San Francisco, and Toronto are currently inactive). Additionally, there is a prayer center located at the Shibukawa Church in Gunma Prefecture.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><b>Theological Seminary:<\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">The Lord\u2019s Cross Theological Seminary, established in 1985, provides theological education through branches across Japan and abroad. Classes are also available online, allowing students to earn credits remotely. Approximately 300 students are currently registered.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><b>Overseas Missions:<\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">The \u201cWater Flowing from the Sanctuary Mission,\u201d established in 1989, has facilitated significant overseas missions. Numerous short-term mission teams have been sent to Asia, America, Europe, Africa, the Middle East, and Oceania. Long-term missionaries are working in the Middle East, America, Cambodia, Brazil, Zambia, and the Czech Republic, and Canada (currently inactive), establishing church activities in these regions. Orphanages have been set up in the Philippines, Cambodia, Brazil, and Zambia. This mission also supports other missionary organizations and seminary students.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><b>Orphanage Work:<\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">The orphanage work began in 1997 as part of the Water Flowing from the Sanctuary Mission and was named \u201cFoundation Stone Orphanage\u201d in March 2001, becoming a separate department. It was recognized as a \u201cSpecified Nonprofit Corporation (NPO)\u201d by Tokyo in April 2001 and obtained certification as a \u201cCertified NPO\u201d in August 2011. Since April 2011, efforts to establish child welfare facilities have been ongoing, resulting in the opening of a small-scale residential child care business (family home) in Koriyama City, Fukushima Prefecture, in June 2016, with external financial support. The work is progressing nationwide, with increased land offerings and qualified personnel.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Missionaries have been sent to Cambodia, Brazil, and Zambia, collaborating with local staff. As of October 2018, local staff in the Philippines provided educational support at four locations, accommodating about 40 children. The Cambodia orphanage, recognized as an international NGO in 2002, housed 19 orphans as of September 2018, including children with HIV and disabilities. Some children have graduated from school and are advancing to the next steps in their lives.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">The Zambia orphanage was featured in a Japanese TV program in July 2013, and a special about it aired on TV Tokyo\u2019s \u201cWhy There? Japanese &#8211; Unknown Turbulent Biographies\u201d on December 30, 2013. As of October 2018, orphanages were established in Kasenga and Lusaka, accommodating five children. Some children are eager to pursue higher education. Support is also provided for orphanages in Romania and India, and preparations are underway to establish orphanages in other regions.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><b>Publishing:<\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">\u201cRainbow in the Cloud Publishing,\u201d established in 1996, has published various works, including the monthly magazine \u201cRainbow in the Cloud,\u201d books by Pastor Paul Akimoto, and DVDs of prophecy seminars. It has also translated and published books by Merlin Carothers.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><b>Newspaper:<\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">\u201cVoice Newspaper\u201d was established in 1998, publishing a weekly newspaper with 70 branches domestically and overseas correspondents providing information. It aims to inform about the world\u2019s end-time movements from a biblical perspective. It has also published books and booklets based on serialized articles.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><b>Computer Services:<\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">In 2002, \u201cAston Co., Ltd. (One Stone)\u201d started its work in computer services, including web shop sales, website creation, PC classes, and repairs.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><b>Music Ministry:<\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">\u201cRiver in the Desert Music,\u201d established in 2003, promotes original Japanese gospel songs. It has released CDs and songbooks and held street live performances in various places, including Hollywood and Santa Monica in the US. It also provides music therapy in hospitals and facilities.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><b>Film Ministry:<\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">\u201cTLCCC Film Mission,\u201d started in 2004, aims to produce an animated story of 26 martyrs from Nagasaki in 1597.
